No Luxury of Time

Imagine that a man will live to be 90 years. Let us assume that he sleeps for 8 hours each day. It means that 30 years of his 90-year live is expended sleeping. The effective years available for life accomplishment is actually 60 years.

The man attended primary school for 6 years from the age of six and another 6 years in secondary school. He then got admission into the university to study medicine for 5 years and another 3 years in specializing. In total he has spend a total of 20 years acquiring education. Since he started school at the age of six, the man would be 26 years by the time he is educated (all things being ideal). Some people take a bit longer and others a bit shorter to really be in a position to 'start a live'.

With some relaxation in the pursuit of purpose, many people turn 40 years as if it happened suddenly. Reality of lack of accomplishment suddenly dawns on the man. He realises that he has to raise a family, buy a property, train his children, accomplish his life purpose and then settle down to retire. The issue is that before the man settles down to retire, he has no more time left. It's as if time has been stolen from him.

There is no luxury of time. Endeavour to discover a purpose for your life and follow after it.
