There are twenty-four hours in a day (including night). If separated into three, there are three parts of eight hours each. It is well advised that eight hours sleep is good for healthy existence. It is also mostly agreed that an eight-hour work-day is best and most businesses adhere to this timing. That leaves the last eight hours in every day at the discretion of each individual.
The difference in the life of each individual and the status of every person in life is determined primarily by what each individual does with the remaining eight hours. Put in another way, for emphasis, the success or failure of each individual hinges primarily on what each person does with the eight ‘free’ hours at his or her discretion. While some people will use the remaining eight hours for work, others will use it for play. That is the reason for variation in levels of success or failure. To achieve success in life, you must be able to utilize your eight hours in a balanced way to add value to your life, your family, and your neighbourhood.
Some people argue that in a day, eight hours is for sleep, eight hours is for work, and the remaining eight hours is for play. That is fine if you just want to be ordinary. But if you want your life to be counted among the legends, those who achieved beyond the ordinary, those who refused to be dictated by the economic policies of the government, then you may need to reconsider how best to use the eight hours of your day. It makes all the difference!
You require those eight hours to create balance and harmony in your life. You need those eight hours to study, to be ahead of your competitors. You need those eight hours to spend time with your family. You need those eight hours to maintain good relationships with friends.
